I've been a lifelong fan of the Turok Son of Stone series, having been captivated by the painted covers of books handed down to me by my dad. I now have a complete slabbed CGC collection which I'm trying to high grade, and I hope to be able to get my hands on original art soon!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02488722092737464822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1360506062642185261.post-19081008577216014752010-03-02T18:08:42.638-05:002010-03-02T18:08:42.638-05:00Glad you liked them. They were around $300, I'd buy them all day at that price now. Most of these here went for $1000+ at the Heritage auction site.tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14100881728689912157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1360506062642185261.post-24701694951861731652010-03-02T09:32:15.255-05:002010-03-02T09:32:15.255-05:00These are great!!! The covers were spectacular much of the time and the Alberto Gioletti interiors were only appreciated for their genius by other professionals until only recently. John Romits Sr. and I would often praise Gioletti's work whenever his name came up.Joe Juskohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00372481990907532158noreply@blogger.com
