More Fun Comics
More Fun Comics, the first issued published in February 1935, is often credited as the first comic to feature only original material as opposed to reprints of newspaper strips. The title served as a launch pad for heroes such as The Spectre, Doctor Fate and The Green Arrow.
Before that, the title featured adventure stories, here's some of those covers.
