Knute Munson Pin-Ups

Like a couple other folks have said, there isn't a better way to start off the New Year than with some pictures of some pretty women.

Knute Munson (1900-1967) studied under artists Andrew Loomis and Harvey Dunn. Through his friendship with Earl Moran, Munson began working at the advertising firm Brown & Bigelow. When Earl McPherson entered the armed forces in 1944, Munson took over the firm's popular Artist's Sketch Pad Calendar. Below is a selection of Munson's art for these calendars.
