A Will Eisner Spirit Drawing

Yesterday's post, and tonight's, are the result of me rooting through a box of miscellaneous magazines.

Here's a drawing of The Spirit by Will Eisner. This is from the back cover and exhibit book for "The American Comic Book," which was held at Ohio State University from May 19 - August 2, 1985. Except for the not very exciting cover, this is the only thing in the book that isn't a reprint of a published comic book, so for that reason I'm presenting it here.

Here's a Lord of the Rings illustration by John Severin. I'm not sure where it was originally published. This scan is from a magazine Trumpet #12, published Summer 1981. The issue also has an article on Franklin Booth and fiction by people I never heard of.
